What S.P.A.L. Subsequent Pregnancy After Loss group

For those parents who are considering or having a subsequent pregnancy after a loss. It's similar to the MIS meeting, but catering to the unique fears, needs, and concerns of parents who are dealing with subsequent pregnancy after experiencing a loss.

(Mothers In Sympathy and Support)

If you have lost a child through pregnancy loss, miscarriage or infant loss, then the Northern Virginia MISS Foundation may be a valuable source of support for you.

What Capitol MISS Foundation support group

They offer monthly support group meetings to mothers and fathers experiencing the loss of a child to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant/child death.

What Surrogacy Support for Intended Parents:

SSIP is a separate support group for parents who are using surrogacy to create their family after a loss of a child(ren) or after the loss of fertility, making it impossible to carry a child on their own. SSIP is geared to support parents for the unique set of circumstances around using a surrogate or Gestational Carrier, including grief for the loss of pregnancy, fears, challenges, ethical concerns, and planning for the future.

What SIDS & Infant Death Support Group

This monthly support group is for parents and adult family members and friends of babies who've died of SIDS or infant death, including miscarriage, stillbirth, and NICU death. Serving Virginia, the MD suburbs, Prince George's County, southern MD and Wash DC, this group is sponsored by the University of Maryland Center for Infant and Child Loss.
